Sixty-two student delegates arrived in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 19 for the inaugural Agriculture Future of America Crop Science Institute. This program is one of four AFA Leader Institutes, which connect passionate, talented college students to various sectors of the agriculture industry. Agriculture Future of America and its partners have selected over 160 students for a unique scholarship program. Through the AFA Leader and Academic Scholarship program, selected students gain access to premier soft-skill training and financial assistance for their college education for one year. Scholarships are awarded at the national and community level. Each selected student is pursuing an agriculture-related four-year degree. Read more.
The Roderick J. and Jo Anne Cyr Foundation and Agriculture Future of America have selected five students for a unique scholarship program.
Through the Cyr Foundation AFA Leader and Academic Scholarship program, Isabelle Ausdal, Katelyn Carroll, Patrick Dziura, Brian Prchal and Parrish Smith have access to premier soft-skill training and financial assistance for their college educations.
