We Feed the Need in the Agriculture Industry.

Who is going to lead your company into the future? Who are you going to get to develop the new project that you are proposing? Who is going to fill the positions of those retiring this year?

As the agriculture industry evolves and changes, professionals are constantly searching for fresh talent and new company leaders. AFA works hard to link the leaders of tomorrow with the industry professionals who are searching for them. AFA does this by providing events like the AFA Opportunity Fair, held annually in conjunction with the AFA Leaders Conference in Kansas City, Mo.

The AFA Opportunity Fair is a tool designed to give participating organizations a competitive edge in the identification of human capital. The Fair allows industry professionals to network, inform and recruit more than 500 of the nation's top student leaders while at the same time providing a link for college students to opportunities for career development in business, production, education, sciences and services.

“Dow AgroSciences is a proud partner of AFA because it is a premier organization for the development of leadership and professionalism among college students in agriculture. AFA is helping develop the talent Dow AgroSciences will continue to need due to our steady growth. By virtue of talent profile alignment and increased involvement with AFA, Dow AgroSciences has seen the percentage of AFA hires increase and alum are now emerging on our leadership teams. This is proof that AFA’s mission and our presence as a partner with the organization is paying huge dividends.”

-Drew Ratterman, Market Sell Workforce Leader at Dow AgroSciences

"With all the great talent being developed through universities and colleges around the county and the inability to participate at all career fairs, it has been a great opportunity for Farm Credit Administration to build a relationship with AFA. Through AFA, we have had the opportunity to identify and recruit talented individuals with a desire to see the survival of American agriculture. Thank you, AFA, for bringing this talent to one easy location to find."

- Lynn Major, Examiner at Farm Credit Administration
